Ben Drug Scandal

Breaking News: Ben Drug Addiction Causes Dignitas Rift
Stoned out of his box, Apparent personality clash, VISA problems

i30 and CPC2
Today we can tell the exclusive tale of the dignitas / mint breakup and the drug scandal that now follows. It appeared an innocent clash of personalities at first, but our reporters have dug deeper to find this ground breaking news.

It all started a few weeks ago after another great i series win for the dignitas squad. Mint then travelled with Ben to his home in the North-East of England only to be shocked by what he saw. It appeared that Ben had a large marijuana production factory in his own home and garden. Mint is well known for his anti-drug campaigns, to keep young gamers off both performance-enhancing and recreational drugs. This is when all hell broke loose. Mint went for an agressive approach but Ben was too stoned to give a shit. Both said nothing to each other for the remainder of the week.

It was clear that mint's perhaps sub-par performance at CPC2 was not expected from the Eurocup LAN winner, usually he is a consistant lan performer. We can now conclude that the drugs row was playing on his mind and severly affected his performance.

After the lan a lot of questions were asked of mint, but he kept silent about the row with Ben and attributed his performance to fatigue. Ben then put pressure on "The Brain" to remove the newly recruited swede, claiming that his playstyle and personality did not match the rest of the team.

Raid
An Anonymus phone call tipped the police off to a drugs factory in the North-East of England. It has now been confirmed that it was infact the home of dignitas player, Ben. Marijuana plants were found in the garden, swimming pool and several bedrooms. The street value of the weed was £1,000,000. Taken into custody were Benjamin Bell, 19, and his father Barry "Big" Bell, 51. The pair are due to attend the crown court on Friday 27th April at 9am with charges of intent to distribute, resisting arrest and assaulting an officer.

Visa Problems
Dignitas are due to attend both WSVG events in the United States of America, a lifelong dream for most of the players. Their trip is now under threat however as Ben's application has been turned down due to pending drug trials. If the trial stretches out for too long or if Ben is found guilty, he will never be allowed to set food in U.S. soil. This is a double blow to the young player as he has been preparing for WSVG for the last year, putting in countless hours of public game time and also a rigorous weight training program. Dignitas manager ODEE has asked the U.S. government as a special pardon, attributing the drug factory solely to Ben's father, "Big", and has pleaded that such a talented gamer should not be held back from the world stage. The U.S. State Department have set a deadline of 1st May to review their verdict.
